MGBlab is an organization positioned as the "Microbial Medical Innovation Engine". With the core values of "Research, Exploration, Innovation, Leadership", it is dedicated to redefining the fundamental rules in the field of microbial health through patented technologies and industry standards, and promoting a global paradigm revolution in the underlying architecture of microecological health led by Chinese people.

The laboratory is driven by the "microecology × AI" technology, relying on the largest global Chinese breast milk strain library (MMB) to discover clinical-level star strains such as BL-11 and LR99. Through three globally leading innovation platforms - strain research (IMM), AI collaborative formulation (CFP), and microecological large model (SMART) - it builds a "breast milk strain screening → AI precise matching → disease prediction and intervention" full-chain innovation system. Based on the "菌脉传承" theory， the laboratory continues to maintain the initial health protection power of life and aims to "become the Bell Laboratories in the field of probiotics"， reshaping the new health paradigm from disease treatment to microecological prevention. 

MGBlab focuses on the multi-dimensional regulatory mechanisms of "microbiota - gut - brain axis (MGBA)" and "gut - X axis", integrating RNA interference technology (RNAi), high-throughput strain screening and clinical evidence-based medicine, decoding the core role of the microbiome in neurodevelopment, metabolic regulation and immune remodeling, promoting microecological intervention from experience to precision, building a full-chain innovation system from basic research to clinical transformation, and providing the "Chinese microbiome solution" for global health challenges. 

Through the open innovation model, MGBlab collaborates with Peking University Health Science Center to establish a joint laboratory for human microecology, aiming to tackle the regulatory mechanism of intestinal flora. It also forms strategic partnerships with 30 top international research institutions and medical institutions such as Harvard Medical School-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital and Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and conducts international multi-center clinical research, creating an integrated innovation ecosystem of "research - clinical - industry".

At the same time, MGBlab actively undertakes major national research projects. Through the deep integration of industry-academia-research, it collaborates with institutions such as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Nutrition Society, fully leveraging the advantages of the Chinese scientific research and industrial ecosystem, and jointly promoting the large-scale application of microecological technologies in special foods, medical rehabilitation, and precise nutrition fields.
